I am half Japanese and grew up learning English and Japanese simultaneously. I grew up in a home mostly based off of the Japanese culture and have become even more interested in the language and culture after a recent visit to Japan. Although I don't have any certifications or formal education in the subject I feel that I have enough knowledge of the subject to teach those who are interested in learning. I've spent the past 4 years studying fine arts at the University of North Florida, specifically painting and drawing. My work has been displayed in various galleries around Jacksonville and I have been recognized for a few awards during my time at UNF. I have spent my whole life making art and would like to eventually become an art teacher to help those who have the same love for art as I do.
