Experience: I have volunteered with the Winter Park Housing Authority to help tutor underprivileged children, mostly elementary school. I also spent one year in South Korea as an English teacher, so I have teaching English as a second language experience. I have taken 2 TEFL courses including 20 hours experience with tutoring English Language Learners. I want to be a tutor, because I had people help and tutor me when I was a student and it made a world of difference in my life. I want to be able to help students learn the key knowledge that will help them to feel more confident in their studies, specifically in writing papers. Setting out to write a paper can be a scary thing, and it is so helpful when you have a compassionate friend to help you along.

Hobbies
After graduating from UCF with a degree in Anthropology, I decided to travel the world a bit and moved to South Korea to teach English to Elementary and Middle School students for a year. Now I am back stateside, and I would love to continue to help students achieve their dreams! I am a practitioner of yoga, an avid hula-hooper, a writer, reader, and seeker of bliss! In college, I had the hardest times writing papers, until a good friend of mine invested some time in me and changed everything. From then on, I understood the process of writing papers, and I enjoyed it! I am also a firm believer in finding some way to relate to what you are writing about.
